Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on iOS in Belgium, Q3 2021

During the third quarter of 2021, the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Belgium showed varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 2.1K at the beginning of July and peaking at approximately 3.1K in the first week of September. Weekly active users also grew steadily, rising from about 61.5K at the end of June to nearly 74.4K by the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a fluctuating download pattern, with numbers ranging between 1.2K to 2.3K. The highest download count was recorded in the first week of September with 2.3K downloads. Active users for Bolt saw a gradual increase from 3.3K at the end of June to a peak of approximately 4.7K mid-September, before dropping to around 3.4K by the end of the quarter.

Heetch - Ride-hailing app maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, averaging around 1K weekly downloads. The active user base remained consistent as well, hovering around 3.5K, with slight fluctuations throughout the period.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at 478 and ending at 373. Active users showed minor variations, starting at 2.1K in late June and ending the quarter with 2.2K active users.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a fairly stable download trend, ranging between 360 to 505 downloads per week. The active user count showed minor fluctuations, starting at 7.1K in late June, peaking at 7.5K in early September, and closing the quarter at about 7.1K.
